Monotheism vs Polytheism

The challenge for all of us is to take responsibility for our faith and what we believe and be Bereans and seek out through the scriptures whether the things taught to us are true. The Word of God instructs us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling (Php 2:12) and this is a part of that.

We start with a short word study on the word "Godhead" used by the KJV translators. Then we dive deeper into the history of religious belief and thoughts, contrasting monotheism and polytheism over the millennia. We also discuss the impact of "tradition" and how we must acknowledge it as a heavy influence on our lives and in our thoughts concerning what is true concerning Jesus and the scriptures.
