Kingdom of God - The Gospel

The "gospel of the kingdom" is fundamentally a proclamation of good news or glad tidings, an "echo from heaven" that John the Baptist began to preach, and Jesus continued to teach and preach.

This powerful message is centered on:

Repentance: A call for humanity to change from walking in darkness to walking in the light, choosing God's way over their own self-determined right and wrong, which was humanity's original deviation in the Garden.

Proclaiming King Jesus: Highlighting that Jesus, the King, died for our sins to restore humanity as citizens of His kingdom. The message also emphasizes His ability to heal all manner of sickness and disease, deliver all those in bondage, and save whosoever will call upon Him.

Reconciliation: The ultimate goal of the gospel is to restore individuals back into right fellowship with God, enabling peace where there was enmity.

This gospel "must be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations" before the end comes. It is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes and responds appropriately, even though it may appear as foolishness to those who are perishing. As citizens of the Kingdom, individuals are now official representatives and ambassadors sent by the King to deliver this vital message as part of a rescue, redemptive, restoration, and reconciliation mission.
